Statement of Purpose and Website Guidelines
"Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to
achieve sobriety." The District 18 Web Site was created to provide a
useful tool for conveying information about A.A. and District 18 activities
to alcoholics, the general public and members of the professional community.
Our goal is to provide A.A. groups and individual members information
about A.A. General Services and invite them to get involved in service.
This will help strengthen our unity within District 18 and the fellowship
of A.A. The hotlines and information about A.A. on the Web site will
help us fulfill our primary purpose of staying sober and carrying the
A.A. message to suffering alcoholics.
